An intense two-day (16 hours) review of the Code taught by industry experts.

Designed for apprentice, maintenance, and residential wireman, electricians wishing to take their State Exam and obtain their Journeyman Electrical License.

Topics: Ohm’s Law, voltage drop, wire sizing, box conduit sizing, motor calculations, service feeder sizing, transformer calculations, formulas, theory and Code as it relates to the exam.

The passing score for the Journeyman Electrician is 70.
A person must wait 10 days after failing an examination to retest.

Licensing Requirements:

Experience:
Applicants must have at least 8,000 hours (4 years) of on the job training under the supervision of a master electrician and the experience verification form must be completed by a person qualified to verify the electricians training or license history.
Criminal History:
Applicants with any criminal offense conviction (felony or misdemeanor) must complete criminal history questionnaire.
